“What have you been up to?”
I seem to get this question a lot, so I figured I’d sum it up with a monthly recap!
What have I been doing?
For starters, Cassi and I have been movin’ & groovin’ with our 4th Grade TEKS Kits! We have been working super hard on each TEKS since July and the results have been amazing. It is so awesome to see and know that we are continuing to make a difference in 4th grade classrooms all over the state!
This month, I started working with Lauren AKA Toast from the Host and owner of Twirl Cotton Candy. I’m excited to be working with her creatively and digitally with Twirl.
Shop Callie Danielle has been doing GREAT! My next goal is to work on getting into boutiques! If you know of any boutiques that would love some Callie Danielle designs, please send them my way!
I think that’s it for now! I’m excited to move forward into February.
XOXO,
Callie
Callie, your collections are so creative, cute and appealing. You should get these out in the public at some pop up events, women’s groups or maybe even try a craft show. I know I am old school, but I order very little on line and I think there are probably a lot of people like me that still shop and like to touch and feel. I was watching Coal Miners Daughter the other night and there is a scene where Loretta Lynn’s husband mails sample records to radio stations to try to get DJs to give her music air time. This made me think of you, maybe you could mail samples to some boutiques that you are interested in. While I was in sales my entire career, I never had to do “cold call selling”, and I don’t know if I could do it or not, but if you have products that you truly believe in, it may be an avenue to explore. Selling often takes a lot of rejection. I believe you have great ideas, and products that have potential to become a huge business. These are just my thoughts. Good luck, and happy selling.
