My Top 10 Favs on 30A!

If you’re new here or don’t know me quite yet, then you’ll quickly discover my obsession with 30A. If you have been following for awhile, then that information is not new to you BUT I am finally sharing my personal favorite things to do and see on 30A!

Below you will find my top 10 favorite things to do while visiting 30A. I’ve been going to the Destin/30A area ever since I can remember. I have spent some of my favorite memories here: family vacay trips, bringing friends along, and even getting engaged right on the beach here (best memory on 30A yet)!

I recently visited and let me tell you, things are GROWING! I can’t get over how much has changed, yet stayed the same along 30A. But okay, let’s get to it… here are my top picks in no particular order. Also, I am going to be somewhat vague because I want YOU to go to get the FULL experience. I am the type that likes to go in with an open mind to new things, but also I appreciate recommendations!

Number 1: The obvi: SEASIDE. (side-note: I’m wearing a Seaside shirt as I type this)

Everyone who visits 30A is typically known to experience Seaside. With that being said, my best tip is to get there a little early before it gets too crowded. Seaside is filled with yummy food trucks, adorable shops, plenty of photo ops, live bands, markets, and so much more. My personal favorite places in Seaside are Bud & Alley’s (especially at sunset) and the Seaside Style Store itself.

Number 2: The Hub

The Hub is located in Watersound and is a must go-to for a chill, outdoor environment. They have nightly events such as live music, movies for the fam, and more. The Hub is a place where you can grab a bite to eat from a variety of different vendors and food trucks. There are also places to rent bikes and cute shops to check out located next to the Hub (one of my favorites is Yellow Fly Trading Co.).

Number 3: Stinky’s Fish Camp

Stinky’s is my FAVORITE restaurant on 30A. It is located in Santa Rosa and you must go. My advice: go early. It gets crowded! The food is AMAZING and the atmosphere is great! They have live music, drinks, good food (seriously), and a bait shop filled with shirts and another bar.

Number 4: The 30A Store

There are multiple locations of the 30A Store, so you have options of the one you want to go to. They carry pretty much the same things, but this is your go-to for a great souvenir to take home. Also, they give back which I love! If I could move to 30A, I would love to work with this company! They’re the backbone of this highway.

Number 5: Rosemary Beach

Rosemary is filled with beautiful shops, places, to eat, and amazing scenery! The Pearl Hotel is located in Rosemary and has a great rooftop bar and pool! Rosemary, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful places on 30A.

Number 6: Alys Beach

Remember how I said Rosemary is one of the most beautiful places on 30A, well… yes, but Alys is probably the most beautiful. It is like a dream. Seriously. The white buildings, the palm trees, the beach… ahhh. It’s SO beautiful. Also, Raw & Juicy is about to open up there and I’m pumped! I LOVE this juice company so much.

Number 7: Amavida Coffee Shop

If you love coffee, you must go to Amavida. The locations I have been to are in Seaside and Rosemary. Literally, my favorite coffee. They also have yummy breakfast pastries that typically rotate throughout the week. I love this place because they offer items that fit my gluten allergy.

Number 8: Pizza!

Okay, maybe I just really like pizza but I swear the pizza is so good down here! My absolute favorite place is Amici 30A which is located in at 30Avenue in Inlet Beach (at the end of 30A off of Highway 98). It is delicious! Also, I am looking forward to exploring more of 30Avenue the next time I’m in Florida because I noticed some CUTE places I have yet to explore! Other great places for pizza on 30A are Bruno’s and Pizza by the Sea

Number 9: Shopping

The shopping on 30A is definitely something to experience. I will admit, some places can get pricey in my opinion, but the shops are still fun to venture into and window shop! I feel like the shops are always on top of trends, yet keep things beachy! I love it. My favorite places to shop are in Rosemary, Watercolor, and Seaside! Some of my favorite boutiques are Willow, Indigo, and Disco

Number 10: The BEACH!

I had to save the best for last. I feel as though the main reason to go to 30A is soley the beach! Not only is the water beautiful, but the sand, y’all. The white sand supposedly contains quartz. I mean, hello… that explains why I always feel better at the beach here! I highly recommend catching the sun rise or set, renting a paddle board, or just setting up an umbrella and towel to relax. Don’t forget to wear sunscreen!

Hope you’ve enjoyed my top 10 picks on 30A! I would LOVE to know yours! I’m always loving to try new places and hearing other people’s favs!

Also, I have this fun 30A tee available in my Etsy shop! My ultimate goal would be to have my art and tees around 30A! A girl can dream, right?!

XOXO,

Callie
